The international conference Effectiveness of EU Rail Policy brought together public and private operators, policy makers, regulators and researchers in order to discuss  regulation and fair competition in passenger and freight operations as well as future plans, needs and wishes for additions and revisions to EU rail policy. This discussion took place on 22 June 2010 in Brussels.
